Where it all Began
The MarriageGym for Women program grew out of a relationship
program for women called "Inspirational Women".
Inspirational Women has been running as a community based,
facilitated small group course for women since the early
1990’s. Since then, it's been considerably developed
and refined to take into account the latest relationship
research and the complexities of women's fast paced lives
these days.
MarriageGym was born out of a desire and a passion to take
the proven principles of Inspirational Women and help many
more women make their dream marriage a reality – using
the internet as the classroom, or should we say gymnasium!

Michelle Brien joined the Inspirational Women
team in 1998 after her own marriage broke down. She had
a passion and determination to find out what went wrong
and how she could avoid the devastation of relationship
breakdowns in the future. With over 20 years experience
in the health industry in fields such as clinical research,
market research and strategic planning, it wasn't long before
Michelle became involved in refining the course material
and researching what worked and didn't work in the relationships
of the women who were doing the course. She continually
built those principles and practical techniques back into
the course. Michelle realised that the small group facilitated
face to face course format, whilst a terrific way to deliver
this material, was not practical for many women and restricted
how widely it could be taught. So in 2003, Michelle extensively
modified the Inspirational Women course (it's fourth major
revision) to make it accessible as a self-paced learning
tool specifically tailored for the "internet aware" generation. Michelle has released this new self paced program
to the internet under the name "MarriageGym for Women".

She understands the issues women face today and has a passion for helping them understand the role the inner life has on their outer life and to pass skills on to women that will help them know what makes a relationship work. Inez's desire to help women be fulfilled in their marriages has seen her committed to this area since 1992
